Good afternoon you wonderful bunch of people, I hope you are keeping well. I know for one, I am certainly feeling happier now that its getting a little warmer. Now don't get me wrong, I love autumn, blankets, firepits and pumpkin spiced lattes but there comes a time when the body craves some natural warmth. It wont last long, I will be moaning about the summer heat soon enough but right now, my body is liking it a little, especially when served with a side of coffee on the beach.
On the book front, I am currently working on another short story for my Blue Glass Bay Series. Its funny, I always feel drawn to adding to this little series when I am due to go and visit my parents. They live on the Kent coast and I love to spend time on the beach when I visit them, usually in the search of the odd washed up glass pebble to add to my collection, whilst I try to take my mind away from my Mum and her dementia. I always feel that inspiration comes fast and thick when I am due a visit to the parentship. More on the Blue Glass Bay Series and Crystal connections later.

Talking of Crystals, well they seem to be featuring a lot lately, I can only assume it is the recent eclipse and new moon playing its part. I'm drawn to so many crystals recently, Red jasper, Blue Lace agate, Aquamarine to name but a few, but it is the Labradorite which is my favourite currently. From the bluey grey rock like exterior comes shafts of bright blue light shimmering, like a galaxy shining from within, or the sun trying to make an appearance through the darkest clouds of winter. Labradorite is said to be good for helping with mental clarity , creative intuition and general transformation. Now tell me, what isn't going through a transformation at the moment. New beginnings, in which spring has definitely sprung, new buds in the garden, the lambing shed alive with activity, so much new life every where you look. And as we spring clean through our homes and offices, so too the decluttering of our mind also takes place. Enjoy the process, so until next time.
Have a good day my friends, get coffee, get cosy & read.
