So tell me, what are you all reading today?

I am currently trying to work my way through my little book trolley, mobile library as my hubby calls it.

I can feel his eyes roll every time I get near a bookshelf followed by, "don't you have books already" to which I normally respond with "Haven't you seen Arsenal play football" He would look at me quizzically where on I would continue "Yes you have, yet still you go back to watch them every week" I'm not sure he gets the connection and sometimes I don't either, but I like books, he likes football, sometimes its a good game or book, sometimes its not but we still keep going back for more, anyway, he walks off and I sometimes come away with a new book. The games we play, insert my own little eyeroll here!

Any who, some books I buy, some are given to me, we have a good book swap group here, that is always a great way for trying books I wouldn't normally buy. At times I get caught up in writing too much and forget to read, then I notice my little trolley creaking at the seams so I take time out to read. I have to be honest and I am sure we are all the same, I have books that I have read, I cant give them away, they are re-readers or just plain special. At the moment, I am reading Jojo Moyes After You, yes I know I am late to the party, sometimes books just escape you, loving it.

With regards to my books, I have started to re edit my second book, still no news from my latest agent submission of my first book, no news is good news as they say, although I do wish they had a bog standard email saying Thanks but no thanks, at least you would know one way or another, however I am also aware they get hundreds of submissions weekly so maybe its not feasible. It can be an 8-12 week turnaround so I guess I just have to be patient. Yes, Patience is key here. Have a good day my friends, get cosy, get coffee and read.
